Thomas Edward McKeen

SCARBOROUGH - Thomas Edward McKeen, 54, died on Aug. 20, 2004 at Pine Point Manor in Scarborough.

He was born in Portland on Jan. 31, 1950, a son of Roland and Frances (Chadbourne) McKeen. He attended Portland schools and attended Portland High School. Afterward, he served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam for three years.

He was a resident of Bridgeport, Conn., and other locations in New England.

In 1980, he came to Maine and worked at Saco Defense and later at Fairchild.

Mr. McKeen enjoyed playing darts and spending time on the computer.

He was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose in Scarborough.

He is survived by two brothers, James McKeen of Scarborough, and Roland McKeen Jr., of Portland; two half brothers, John McKeen of Scarborough and William Kerr of Florida; two half sisters, Joan McKeen and Judith Carver of Saco; two daughters, Michelle Holcomb and Karen McKeen of Maryland; and five grandchildren.

Service details will be given at a later date.

Arrangements are by Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco.

 

A funeral service for Tom McKeen will be held at 11am Wednesday (8/25) at the chapel of the Mt.
