David A. Dube

YARMOUTH - David A. Dube, 40, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 17, 1964, in Portland, son of Judith MacDonald of Yarmouth and Donald Dube of Lewiston.

He was part of the graduating class of '82 from Yarmouth High School.

A self-employed contractor for many years, he owned and operated Do-Be Painting. He was also a member of the Maine Dart Association, the Maine Coastal Conservation Association, and a member of H.O.G. David loved his work, his hunting and above all, his fishing. He also had a strong passion for his Harley, he rode his bike day or night hot or cold, and nothing stood in his way. He loved life and he loved people.

David is survived by his father, Donald Dube of Lewiston, and his mother, Judith MacDonald and her husband Paul of Yarmouth. He is also survived by his brother, Tim Dube of Freeport.

Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, at Lindquist Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Refuge League of Brunswick. Arrangements were made by Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth.
