| 12/2/2007 - The stats will be posted as soon as Kevin is done subtracting points from the considerable number of teams who chose not to attend today's mandatory captains' meeting. Every captain received a phone call confirming the time and location of the meeting, so... ??? | ||
| 11/29/2007 - Just a confirmation, Sunday's MANDATORY Captains' Meeting will be held at the Whale Tail Pub aka Village Inn in Old Orchard, with roll call at NOON. We are no longer having board meetings there because they are closed on Mondays, but the Whale Tail is still our location for the Finals, which is scheduled for 7:30pm on Saturday December 15th. | ||

10/3/2007 - A few quick notes for your week: 1. Newsletters were mailed on Saturday to your sponsor pubs & clubs. They said "Attention: Dart Teams" in great big letters on the envelopes, so hopefully whoever gets the mail at your sponsor will notice that and post them on a wall or a bulletin board somewhere for you. Please speak with your sponsor if this doesn't happen. Statistician Kevin P. usually hand delivers them, but for rare times when that is not an option, we mail them to the sponsor addresses you specified on your rosters. 2. The October Board Meeting will be held at the Kerrymen Pub in Saco (third Monday of the month, 7pm per usual), as the Whale Tail is not open Monday nights over the winter. First 15 minutes of every board meeting is an Open Forum for any league member to bring up concerns or suggestions to the Board in person. 3. The dartsinmaine.com messageboard appears to be working again, finally... Once people start coming back, you'll find lively conversations about darts, rules, tournaments, and various other dart-related topics. |

9/21/2007 - In response to repeated complaints to our website
hosting provider that our messageboard no longer works, they
sent this response: We have been experiencing heavy loads at times on the MySQL servers to resolve this issue we had recently upgraded to the most recent versions available for this, which has lightened the loads some but in order to improve this further we are also implementing new hardware as well over the course of the next couple of weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience but until this is implemented the slowness you are experiencing will continue during these heavy load times. |

completely - causing lots of extra work for your Statistician
could result in a point loss for YOU! Also, more than one team
this season has lost a point for putting the wrong opponent's
name at the top of their match report - we recommend you have
your schedule handy when filling out your match report sheet, to
avoid this very preventable mistake! Saturday Shootouts at Champions in Biddeford start October 6th. Signups 3pm, $6 entry fee. Open to all, but 20% of the proceeds goes to the SRDL. Featuring door prizes, 50/50 raffle, & more. |
