| 5/11/2007 - Preliminary end-of-season stats are posted. In C Division, we are awaiting one more match report sheet. Personal stats in C will change when that is entered. For all other divisions, unless you spot a mistake, these are your final end-of-season results! | |||
| 5/5/2007 - Due to our Statistician moving away, we need to ask all home captains to mail their match reports to the Post Office box this week, in order to get your stats done for the season awards ASAP. If any of you already have a stamped envelope with the League address on it left over from previous seasons, please contact your Pres (831-7119 or outgirl@dartsinmaine.com) so I don't have to figure out how to get one out to you :-) | |||
| 4/23/2007 - News! Here's your opportunity to get involved in running the league. After this season ends, we will be interviewing for a number of board positions. Sherry Hall and Mike Petersen are moving out of state, and so the positions they currently hold (Secretary, Statistician, and Tournament Director) will become available. Mike has also been doing Area Director duties this season (in a non-voting capacity) in place of Pappy Andrews, who has also moved away, and so that position is available as well. Ideally, we are seeking *four* people to hold these four board positions. Secretary and Statistician probably entail the most work of any board positions, and Sherry has done an admirable job handling both. You can read all the job descriptions in the By-Laws, and get more details from any board member. What these positions all have in common is a year-round commitment to attending one board meeting a month, conduct themselves in a mature and responsible manner, communicate with league members and each other, and have the desire to help the Saco River Dart League grow and prosper. If this sounds like something you might enjoy, please read up on the job descriptions and contact the league with your questions and/or qualifications! | |||

4/20/2007 - FYI, as of Friday evening, only half of this
week's match reports have arrived, so your newsletter will not
be done until after tomorrow's mail arrives. This may result in
newsletters not getting to Tuesday sponsors on time by mail, so
if you have internet access and your teammates do not, please
print out a copy later this weekend to bring to darts with you!

4/13/2007 - As promised in the newsletter, here is the wording of the new rule... Article 8, Section 7. Failure to follow any rule, regulation, or procedure of the SRDL may result in a one (1) point deduction per infraction at the Board’s discretion, if no other penalty is specified herein. |

3/10 - We don't normally repeat everything that's in the paper newsletters word for word on the website, but this week, there are a couple of things we want to make sure you don't overlook: Please note: Board Member Kelly Petit's cell number has changed to 205-5411. Also, the SRDL is in need of a new Treasurer. If you are interested in this position, please check out the job description in the By-Laws, and then come to our next board meeting to be interviewed. Board meetings are held the 3rd Monday of the month, 7pm at the Bar of the Season, currently Howard's in Saco. |

| 2/13/2007 - Players please review the info at the bottom of this page, too. The gist of it is, if either or both teams wishes to reschedule, there are procedures to be followed by the captains. It should be every individual player's personal decision as to whether you can get yourself to and from a match safely, so be sure to communicate with your captains! | |||
