SAMPLE MATCH REPORT SHEET
You should start by reading Article 7 of the Rules & Regulations, which contains instructions for filling out a match report sheet. Below is a sample of a B division sheet. There are several mistakes, resulting in one point deducted from the home team for incorrect match report. Notes about this sheet are below the sample:

NOTES:
1. Visiting Team not filled in - qualifies for incorrect match report. The match report is the home team's responsibility, even if the incorrect or missing information is on the visiting team's side.
2. Tom Doe crossed out, Tim Saco written in. Readable and has both captains' initials, no deductions.
3. Mistake on Edward Wood's score crossed out, only initialed by one captain - qualifies for incorrect match report.
4. Circled 180 in specialty points section indicates this was in the third game of a two-out-of-three singles. Tells statistician to count this as a specialty shot, but not as allstar/ton points. N/A to divisions that do not play two-out-of-three.
5. 121 IN, 102 OUT, 112 OUT. Highest of each is written in on the second line from the end. If there are none, leave those boxes empty.
6. Crossouts under home team's attempted and earned. Really should have had four sets of initials there, as there are four crossouts.
7. Totals of 18, 36, and 36: You don't have to write these totals in, but do check to make sure your stats add up to these totals. The earned points of both teams together will add up to 36. Each 3-person game won is worth 1 point, 2-person games are worth 2 points, and singles are worth 3 points. (Division A totals are 20 and 40.)
8. Be especially diligent in checking your stats if a team has more than one player with the same first or last name (count up the stats yourself on this one - did we do it right???).
As always, if you have any questions on how to fill out a match report sheet, or about points you've lost, please contact your Statistician at srdlstats@dartsinmaine.com.
